Today I did a flight lesson. Like all times they are fun we practiced crosswind takeoffs and landings. And also Turns about a Point. I'm getting the hang off turns around the point and slips and all that stuff. Its funny cause I'm not used to there being more than one plane flying at the airport at the same time as we are. So that was a cool and interesting experience all in its self. Um as you see in the title I have hit the 10 hour mark in my flying journey now only a whole lot more to go. Also I did my first fully in control landing by myself i ballooned a bit and it was a touch hard but I guess you can ask for perfect on your first real landing. Heads up next lesson will be in a Full motion simulator so ill try to get a picture of that. I'm pretty excited for it cause you can learn a lot from a simulator. Below are some pictures my mom took while we were taxiing back to the hanger. the cockpit one I took.

Question: Plane Types
I have been talking with my friend that lives in Cleveland and takes lessons at KBKL and we were talking about how we wouldn't want to go any bigger than a CRJ or a MD-80. And how we would love to fly Cessna Citations. And I was wondering what it is like on those so called mid range planes. How do they fly and stuff. Are they fun or are they not as good as the big Boeing's?
Thanks for the Feed back, until next time,

Going on a Trip
Yay, today my mom booked her and I a flight to Portland, Maine so that we can go visit my Uncle that lives in Kennebunk, Maine. I love Maine I cant Waite to get my private pilot license so I can fly the coast line of Kennebunk it is beautiful. So anyway we will be going on NWA which is alright. Hey what ever the cheapest is right ha ha. We will be going next month from KCMH to KDTW, then from KDTW to KPWM. In a Canadair regional jet 900 on the way there, which I'm really happy about because I want to fly planes like that when I'm older. On the way back we will be in a DC 900 which is even better!!!! When I actually go on the flight ill try to get video of it so i can put it on here. Anyone ever flown this route before or something like it comment and let me know how it was like.
Until next time,

And the hours build
Today had my ninth flight lesson as always it was fun. Here's some stats, Hours-8.7, Landings 9, Hardest thing so far power on stalls for some reason. So today at my flight lesson we went over low level maneuvers and of course power on and off stalls. I did ok with the S-turns, Around a point, and rectangular course even though all we really did was go over them probably next time Ill do it mostly. And then the stalls, I really actually like them once I do them. Power Off believe it or not are my favorite probably because I didn't turn it into a beginning of a spin the first time I did it. But... on the other hand Power on stalls are a bit tougher for me I don't know why, cause they are generally easier for people. The first time I did it I turned it into a start of a spin but it really wasn't anything to worry about. But I think I'm finally not worried about them anymore cause really they are nothing to worry about just a maneuver. So anyway overall it was fun as usual and great.
Thanks and until next time,
Ian
